Job summary

Staff Zone is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth in the construction staffing market, selling skilled labor, general labor, and payroll solutions to contractors. You will chase new business, manage a book of regional accounts, and collaborate with operations to ensure client satisfaction.

You’ll begin with training, then operate from home, visiting job sites and offices to build relationships and close opportunities. A hunter mindset and on-site comfort are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in staffing, construction, or trades-related sales is great but not required.
• Comfortable visiting construction sites or GC trailers.
• Grit, hustle, and a passion for in-person relationship building.
• Organized, proactive, and commission-motivated.
• Basic tech skills including CRM, email, and texting tools.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and build relationships with GCs, subcontractors, and superintendents.
• Meet clients face-to-face at job sites and offices.
• Consistently close new business and grow current accounts.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure site coverage and client satisfaction.
• Manage a book of business and expand territory; route ends at home after training.
