Job summary

Staff Zone is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our construction staffing solutions. You’ll sell skilled labor, general labor, and payroll services to contractors, focusing on relationship-building with GCs, subcontractors, and superintendents.

Role involves field visits, face-to-face meetings, and a pathway to work-from-home days after ramp-up, with ongoing incentives and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Staffing, construction, or trades-related sales is welcome but not required.
• Comfort on a construction site or GC trailer.
• Grit, hustle and face-to-face relationship building.
• Organized, proactive and commission-driven.
• Basic tech skills (CRM, email, texting platforms).

Responsibilities

• Prospect and build relationships with GCs, subcontractors, and superintendents.
• Meet clients face-to-face at job sites and offices.
• Consistently close new business and expand current accounts.
• Partner with operations to ensure job site coverage and client satisfaction.
• Manage a book of business and grow territory; days start and end at home after training.
• Attend networking events such as golf tournaments, clay shoots, and lunch & learns.
