Job summary

Hensel Phelps is hiring laborers to support form carpenters, concrete operations, and masons on our projects. You will help with form assembly, concrete placement, and material handling while maintaining a safe, productive work environment.

The role requires basic math, reliability, and strong teamwork. OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred; safety footwear is required, and a valid driver’s license is needed for site access.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Follow safety procedures per Hensel Phelps programs.
• Basic mathematics and measurements proficiency.
• Own safety footwear is required.
• Strong communication with team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement and rough grading.
• Assemble and handle concrete forms and equipment.
• Move materials, assist finishers, and support block masons and carpenters.
• Distribute site materials and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Promote a safe work environment and monitor jobsite hazards.
