Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking Laborers to provide support for concrete operations, form work, and masonry tasks on project sites. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and the ability to lift and move heavy materials.

Responsibilities include assisting with concrete placement, form assembly, and transporting materials. A High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required, with OSHA 10 preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Follow safe work practices per safety program.
• Must take initiative and ask questions.
• Must provide own safety footwear.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement including excavation and grading.
• Assemble concrete forms and assist in placing form panels.
• Handle concrete buckets and muck slabs to spread concrete.
• Strip forms after curing and transport them for storage.
• Assist finishers with power trowels and screeds to finish surfaces.
• Move materials and assist masons with bags of cement, lime, sand, and grout.
• Help carpenters with door frames transportation and placement.
• Load, unload, and distribute materials and tools; keep site tidy and safe.
• Support a safe work environment by communicating hazards and securing the site.
