Job summary

TruTeam in California seeks a driven Sales Consultant to grow our residential and light commercial footprint. You will identify prospects, make daily sales calls, present proposals, and manage accounts from initial contact through project completion.

Candidates should bring 3+ years of construction product sales experience and a valid driver’s license. This role emphasizes building trusted relationships, meeting monthly targets, and promoting safety on job sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs.
• Meet monthly sales targets and communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception.
