Job summary

TruTeam in Decatur, Alabama seeks a Sales Consultant to drive revenue for residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify prospects, conduct daily sales calls, present proposals, and manage accounts with a focus on building trusted relationships and meeting monthly targets.

The role requires at least 3 years in building products sales, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to travel locally. Base plus commissions and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and recommend materials based on customer needs.
• Understand the market, monitor conditions, and watch competitors' products and pricing.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception and inspect job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
