TruTeam in Avondale, AZ seeks a Sales Consultant to drive revenue by selling insulation and building materials to residential and light commercial accounts. The role emphasizes lead generation, daily sales calls, proposals, and relationship-building with customers.

You will monitor market trends, stay ahead of product innovations, and work toward achieving monthly targets while ensuring safety on job sites. Travel is local and schedule may vary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and consistently generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs.
• Understand the market you serve, monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate company safety programs to customers at sale initiation by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage the customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Other duties as assigned.
