Job summary

TruTeam in Richmond, VA is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive growth selling insulation and building materials to residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify prospects, generate leads, and build trusted customer relationships while meeting monthly sales targets and promoting safety on job sites.

The role requires 3+ years of sales in construction, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally (>50%).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in building products or construction
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license required for local travel

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and consistently generate and follow up on leads
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts
• Provide product knowledge and recommend materials and services based on customers’ needs
• Meet monthly sales targets and communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion
