Job summary

TruTeam in Winchester, VA is seeking a Sales Consultant to grow our residential and light commercial insulation and building materials business. You will identify prospects, present proposals, and close deals while delivering outstanding service to customers in the local market.

We require 3+ years of building products sales, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally (>50%). We offer base plus commissions, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in building products/construction.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospects, generate and follow up on leads, and build trusted relationships.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and recommend materials based on customer needs.
• Understand the local market, monitor product innovations and competitors' pricing.
• Meet monthly sales targets and communicate safety programs with customers at sale inception.
