Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety professional to provide training on safe work practices and enforce EH&S programs on construction projects in the Philadelphia area.

The role emphasizes educating project teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, with a focus on reducing risk and promoting a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.
• CHST certification required or within two years of appointment.
• Completed OSHA 30-hour training; maintain First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED certifications.
• Familiar with Federal, State, and local EH&S regulations; strong safety program knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Educate project teams on EH&S programs, policies, and procedures and provide training on safe work practices.
• Promote safe work practices and conditions per regulations and owner requirements.
• Coordinate with project team and subcontractor Safety representatives; support development of the safety program.
