Job summary

Turner Construction Company on a Philadelphia project seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Lead to partner with project teams and enforce site compliance with EH&S programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements on a single construction project within the region.

You will lead training of safe work practices, educate project teams on environmental and hazardous materials reporting, and drive actions to mitigate risks while maintaining zero citations and strong safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field is required.
• CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
• OSHA 30-hour training and maintain First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED certifications.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local EH&S regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and enforce EH&S on a single construction project per HQ policy.
• Develop action plans to mitigate risks and drive safety improvements.
• Provide safety leadership and training to project teams and subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor safety programs and Pre-Task Plans for compliance.
• Collaborate with project leadership to produce safety reports and metrics.
• Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and owner requirements.
