Turner Construction Company is seeking a senior Environmental Health & Safety leader for a large-scale project in Philadelphia, PA. The role directs EH&S policy, drives safety culture, and leads on-site teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 13+ years of construction safety experience, and CHST certification or progression toward it, with OSHA 30-hour completion and First Aid/CPR/BBP/AED current.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field with 13+ years of construction safety experience
• CHST certification required or within 6 months of appointment
• OSHA 30-hour training completed and First Aid/CPR/BBP/AED current
• Expert knowledge of safety and environmental principles and regulations
• Experience in incident management and response
• Ability to lead safety efforts and mentor teams

Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce EH&S policies on the construction site and oversee the EH&S team
• Set EH&S direction with project leadership and communicate the vision
• Drive continuous safety improvements and develop KPIs and PDCA cycles
• Engage with front-line workers to promote learning and safety culture
• Coordinate with client, trades, and JV partners to align EH&S programs
• Provide expert EH&S guidance to stakeholders and owners as liaison
