Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a Safety Manager I for a Taylor, Texas project. You will lead the site safety program, enforce the Safety & Health Program, and ensure a safe, compliant work environment across all activities.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, training delivery, and coordinating with clients, management, and trade partners. The role requires a strong field presence and extensive knowledge of OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or progress toward degree.
• Certified Safety Professional CSP or equivalent credential.
• Authorized OSHA 500 trainer.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the Safety & Health Program on assigned projects.
• Communicate with clients, management, employees, and trade partners.
• Attend preconstruction meetings and review safety submittals.
• Build and maintain relationships with project staff and vendors.
• Create and maintain safety incident reports and investigation documents.
• Provide safety training aligned with project scopes and work types.
