Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a Safety Representative to support the Safety Director on projects around San Antonio, Texas. The role involves implementing safety reviews, overseeing safety systems, and training office and field personnel to ensure a safe, accident-free work environment.

Responsibilities include hazard assessment, developing training programs, reporting, and participating in weekly site safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety and Health or related field preferred.
• CHST/ASP/CSP certification preferred.
• CMAR and preconstruction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and exposures on projects and propose control measures.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for workers and supervisors.
• Conduct incident investigations and safety audits on site.
• Prepare and file safety documentation and reports.
• Promote safety awareness and ensure compliance with regulations.
