Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking an experienced Safety Manager for a Mesquite, Texas project. You will implement safety reviews, oversee safety systems, and provide training to both office and field personnel to maintain a safe and accident-free work environment.

Responsibilities include developing JHA and safety plans, conducting training, leading safety meetings, and managing incident investigations. A bachelor's in Safety and Health is required with 5+ years in construction safety; bilingual

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience on heavy civil projects.
• CHST, CSHO or ASP, CSP certification preferred.
• OSHA 500 preferred.
• CMAR and preconstruction experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Examine project settings for safety hazards and processes.
• Develop and review project JHA and safety plans.
• Conduct training and ensure proper PPE use.
• Lead safety meetings and site assessments.
• Investigate incidents and manage Workers' Comp and injuries.
• Prepare and distribute safety reports and records.
