Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) lead for a single construction project in the United States. You will enforce EH&S programs, lead training, and guide project teams on environmental and hazardous materials management according to policy and regulatory requirements.

You will develop and implement corrective actions, monitor safety trends, and drive improvements to reduce incidents and regulatory exposure while maintaining strong relations

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field and minimum of 4 years of related construction safety experience.
• CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
• Completed OSHA 30-hour training and maintain current First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED certifications.
• Knowledgeable of Federal, State, and local EH&S regulations.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel and have access to reliable transportation.

• Assess safety practices; develop action plans to mitigate risks and drive improvements.
• Communicate requirements to project leadership and teams for adherence to EH&S standards.
• Develop site-specific safety training for management, employees, subcontractors, and Turner trades.
• Promote safe work practices in compliance with regulations and owner requirements.
• Establish and maintain project safety programs and policies; review subcontractor safety plans.
