Turner Construction Company is seeking a Safety Lead to partner with EH&S and project teams to enforce site compliance, train teams on safe work practices, and drive continuous improvement in environmental health and safety across a single construction project. The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, CHST certification, OSHA 30-hour training, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Travel to project sites is required, with Turner offering robust benefits and growth

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.
• CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
• Completed OSHA 30-hour training; maintain First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local EH&S regulations.
• Ability to identify safety exposures and lead corrective actions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead EH&S on a single construction project per HQ policy.
• Provide safety leadership and allocate resources for the project.
• Develop and implement action plans to mitigate risks.
• Train project teams on EH&S programs and safe work practices.
• Promote safe working conditions and enforce EH&S policies.
• Collaborate with leadership to produce safety reports and metrics.
• Conduct site safety audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
