Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Leader to partner with EH&S and project teams, enforcing company policies and regulatory requirements on a single construction project within the geographic area. You will lead training of safe work practices and guide management of environmental and hazardous materials reports and conditions.

Responsibilities include directing EH&S on site, allocating resources, mitigating risks, and driving safety improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.
CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
OSHA 30-hour training completed; First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED certifications current.

Responsibilities

Lead EH&S on a single construction project and enforce safety policies and procedures.
Manage time and resource allocation; provide safety leadership on the project.
Assess safety practices, identify exposures, and implement corrective action plans.
Develop and deliver project-specific safety training for management, employees, and subcontractors.
Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with regulations and owner requirements.
Review subcontractor safety programs and pre-task plans for compliance.
