Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety professional to lead EH&S on a single construction project, enforcing safety programs and regulatory compliance. The role includes training, risk mitigation, and collaboration with project leadership to improve safety performance.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in OSH/Engineering with CHST certification within 2 years, OSHA 30, and current First Aid/CPR. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field required.
• CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
• OSHA 30-hour training completed; First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED certifications current.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local EH&S regulations; safety and environmental principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S on a single construction project and enforce safety policies.
• Provide safety leadership and allocate resources for the project.
• Develop and implement action plans to mitigate risks and improve safety awareness.
• Train project teams on EH&S programs, policies, and procedures.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance and train personnel.
