Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western seeks a Quality Manager I for a Federal project in Tacoma, WA. You will implement and manage the Quality Management System, ensuring design and construction meet company policies and contract requirements.

You will lead quality processes, mentor staff, monitor KPIs, coordinate inspections, and support risk management to improve profitability. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• AEC/Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; ICC/NICET credentials preferred.
• Minimum 7 years in AEC with strong quality background and leadership experience.
• Experience leading quality programs and coaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality management for the project, including planning, execution and close-out to ensure safety, quality and profitability.
• Coach and mentor project staff on quality management principles and project-specific requirements.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and QIRs; drive continuous improvement across the team.
