Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western seeks a Quality Manager I for the DFW Terminal F project in Dallas, TX. You will implement, improve, and execute the QMS and project-specific quality program requirements to ensure design and construction comply with company policies and contract. Qualifications

• AEC/related field degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Construction Quality Management certification (USACE/NAVFAC/NRC) preferred.
• Industry certifications for testing and inspection as required.
• Limited travel for projects.
• Level 1 QCM.
• Minimum 7 years of AEC experience, with 3 years in a Quality role.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and time management.
• Knowledge of standards, specifications and publications relevant to duties.

Responsibilities

• Quality champion for project(s), overseeing quality of works and documentation.
• Coach project staff in quality management procedures.
• Lead and manage quality processes: planning, meetings, materials, incident reports.
• Establish and report KPIs and QIRs; analyze trends and drive improvements.
• Audit project quality programs; provide feedback on non-conformances.
• Direct inspection, testing, and documentation; coordinate with labs and client.
• Create project-specific inspection/test plans and QA procedures.
• Support risk management to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Maintain relationships with owners, clients, subs, and stakeholders.
• Support Site Safety to ensure adherence to safety procedures.
