Job summary

The Walsh Group seeks an MEP Quality Manager I for a Federal construction project in DuPont, WA. You will implement and manage the QMS, ensuring design and construction meet contract requirements while guiding the team in quality practices.

Strong leadership, audits, KPI tracking, risk management, and collaboration with owners, subcontractors, and design partners are essential. Walsh offers growth in a family-owned culture with national backing.

Qualifications

• AEC Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• USACE/NAVFAC/NRC Construction Quality Management certification preferred.
• Minimum 7 years in AEC with 3 years in a quality role.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Limited travel for projects as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Quality champion for a project(s) ensuring quality management duties, documentation and close-out.
• Mentor and train project staff in quality management principles and procedures.
• Lead and manage quality processes: work planning, material management, QIRs, inspections.
• Establish, monitor and report KPIs and project quality metrics.
• Audit project quality programs for continuous improvement and communicate findings.
• Coordinate inspection/testing with operations, labs and client.
• Support material specification reviews and risk management to improve profitability.
• Maintain relationships with owners, clients, subcontractors and design partners.
• Support Site Safety to align with quality procedures and goals.
