Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of construction industry experience.
• Ability to travel weekly and manage geographically dispersed projects.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding processes with GC's, CM's and subcontractors.
• Prepare and manage contracts, purchase orders, requisitions and invoices for Food Lion-contracted work.
• Oversee Change Order process and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Review ARCH/MEP redlines for accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Develop and implement cost-saving ideas and value engineering.
• Plan and monitor construction schedules, milestones, and handoffs to open stores.
