Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Project Manager I in the Store Development area to lead new store, expansion, and remodel projects from pre-construction through closeout. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of architectural designs/engineering concepts and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects through influence and drive accountability across contractors, developers/landlords, vendors and cross-functional partners.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and award processes for General Contractors, Construction Managers, subs and suppliers for Food Lion-contracted projects.
• Oversee bid package preparation, RFPs, schedules and documentation.
• Manage contracts, purchase orders, processing and payment of requisitions and invoices.
• Oversee Change Authorization/Change Order process; ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Direct weekly project construction and operations meetings with stakeholders.
• Ensure progress aligns with plans, specifications and prototype standards.
