Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee new store, expansion and remodel projects from pre-construction through warranty close-out. You will manage schedules, budgets and approvals, coordinating with GC's, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure on-time store openings.

The role requires extensive travel (80% Mon–Thu with a remote Friday) and the ability to lead cross-functional teams while maintaining prototype standards and compliance across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; Preferred in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Ability to travel weekly and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding with GC's, CM's and subcontractors for Food Lion projects.
• Oversee bid documents, RFQ packages and cost-control through procurement.
• Prepare contracts, PO's, processing and payment of requisitions and invoices.
• Lead Change Authorization/Change Order processes to protect budgets.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Real Estate, Operations and other stakeholders.
• Direct weekly project construction and operations meetings across partners.
