Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of architectural designs/engineering concepts and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects through influence and drive accountability.
• Ability to travel weekly and coordinate across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding with GC's/CM's and subcontractors for Food Lion-contracted projects.
• Oversee bid documents, contracts, requisitions, and invoices to ensure timely payments.
• Administer changes through Construction Change Authorization/Change Orders; monitor impact on budgets.
• Lead periodic project meetings with stakeholders to ensure schedule adherence.
• Develop phase plans, schedules, milestones and ensure safe, compliant execution.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Real Estate, Operations and other departments to align costs and timelines.
• Monitor progress against plans and escalate issues affecting cost, scope, or openings.
