Job summary

Orion Hidden Careers is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple projects, overseeing safety, cost, schedule, and quality from planning through execution. The role involves coordinating with superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with design specifications.

You will build strong relationships with clients and the project team, travel to job sites, and contribute to pre-job planning and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in construction project management.
• BS Degree in Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience in light commercial concrete construction or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, budget, schedule, quality, and design specifications for projects.
• Complete project billings in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with project superintendent on labor, equipment, subs, and materials.
• Organize pre-job turnover and planning meetings.
• Create and maintain project schedules; monitor critical path dates.
• Coordinate with project engineer to maintain plans and RFIs in PlanGrid.
• Interface between company and general contractor.
• Establish project budgets per company policy.
• Maintain quality control on assigned projects.
• Manage change orders and RFPs; prepare subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Ensure foremen and superintendents understand subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Provide written submittals, reviews, and issue resolution with GC and subs.
• Maintain positive professional relationships with GCs, subs, and vendors.
• Identify cost and schedule issues; escalate to Superintendent/Operations Manager.
• Verify and approve vendor invoices; provide job progress reports.
• Support estimating department as needed.
• Manage and train Project Engineers assigned to the project.
