Job summary

orionexternalcareers is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple projects, taking primary responsibility for safety, quality, schedule, and budget to ensure successful delivery.

You will coordinate with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors and vendors, manage pre-job planning and change orders, track progress, and report results while traveling to job sites and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in light commercial concrete construction.
• BS Degree in Construction Management or related field required.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project safety while meeting budget, schedule, quality, and design specs.
• Complete project billings in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with project superintendent managing labor, equipment, and subs.
• Organize pre-job planning and turnover meetings.
• Create and maintain project schedules and monitor critical dates.
• Manage change orders and subcontracts with oversight.
• Provide project progress reports and final cost data to estimating.
• Train project engineers and supervise assigned personnel.
