Harris is seeking a Construction Project Manager Intern for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience translating classroom lessons into real-life construction skills, with exposure from pre-job activities through job closeout.

As a current student in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, you will support estimating, setup, permits, safety, purchasing, submittals, RFIs, and project tracking. Join a leading mechanical contractor with nationwide reach.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in construction project management.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.
• Demonstrated math and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to all project phases from pre-job to closeout.
• Assist with estimating, setup, permits, contracts, and insurance certificates.
• Support during construction for safety, purchasing, submittals, RFIs, and productivity tracking.
• Assist with change orders, material tracking, and project closeout documentation.
