Job summary

Harris Company is offering a Summer 2027 Project Manager Intern position. You will gain hands-on experience in the construction process, from pre-job estimating to project closeout, including safety, purchasing, submittals, and warranty documentation.

Current students pursuing Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields with strong math, analytical, and communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Job: Estimating job contracts, permits and insurance certificates.
• During Construction: safety, purchasing, submittals, tracking materials and equipment, field personnel tracking, productivity tracking, change order submittals and tracking.
• Job Closeout: project closeout, O&M manuals, as-recording drawings, warranties.
• Exposure to all phases of a project from start to finish.
