Job summary

Harris on-site internship offers a Summer 2027 Construction Project Manager Intern role. You will gain hands-on experience by delving into the full project life cycle from pre-job activities through construction to closeout, turning classroom lessons into real-world skills on diverse projects.

As a current student in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields, you will read construction documents, support safety and procurement tasks, and develop analytical and teamwork

Qualifications

• Must be a current student working toward degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in the construction industry and project management.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.
• Demonstrated proficiency of math and analytical skills.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication while working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Job: Estimating Job Setup Job contracts Permits and insurance certificates.
• During Construction: Safety Purchasing Submittals Tracking materials & equipment Productivity tracking Change orders and tracking RFIs.
• Job Closeout: Project closeout O&M manuals As-recording drawings and warranties.
