You will gain hands-on experience handling estimating, setup, permits, safety, purchasing, submittals, tracking, and warranties in a dynamic contractor environment.

The internship targets students in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields and emphasizes math, analytical skills, and strong communication within a team.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in construction and project management.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.
• Demonstrated proficiency of math and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Job: Estimating, Job Setup, Job contracts, Permits and insurance certificates.
• During Construction: Safety, Purchasing, Submittals, Tracking materials & equipment, Productivity tracking, Change orders and tracking RFIs.
• Job Closeout: Project closeout, O&M manuals, As-recording drawings and warranties.
