Baker Concrete Construction, Inc invites an experienced Project Engineer to support field activities and project administration under the Project Manager on multiple small projects or larger ones. You’ll help manage cost, schedule, procurement, and contract aspects while ensuring constructability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare budgets and change orders, and oversee turnover processes and as-built records.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience or 6 years construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsabilidades

• Generates and obtains approvals of monthly billing and earned values
• Develops and manages the project schedule on small or mid-sized projects
• Analyzes targets and goals, job cost summaries, and other reports
• Alerts the Superintendent and Project Manager of project impact relating to resource management
• Generates and obtains approval of the initial budget and subsequent updates
• Generates estimates of change orders and interfaces with pre-construction on bids
• Communicates project requirements and procurement plans with the project team
• Generates material quantity take-offs and support procurement
• Prepares field purchase orders and major purchase orders
• Gathers and roughs-in monthly financial reports and participates in financial reviews
• Works with Project Manager to approve and code project invoices
• Coordinates with safety and risk management to establish clinics and case management
• May conduct new-hire orientation and process E-Verify
• May coordinate tracking and completion of training requirements

Educación

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

6 years construction related experience
