Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc is seeking a Project Engineer to support field activities under the Project Manager across multiple small projects or one medium to large project. The role emphasizes cost control, scheduling, constructability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The Project Engineer collaborates with pre-construction, manages procurement plans, and contributes to project financial reviews and turnover activities to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years' experience or 6 years construction experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Generates and approves monthly billing and earned values
• Develops and manages the project schedule on small or mid-sized projects
• Analyzes targets and job cost summaries and other reports
• Coordinates with Superintendent and PM to manage procurement and cost control
• Prepares field purchase orders and major purchase orders for execution
• Supports project turnover, LEAN/SQP initiatives, and quality/safety programs
