The Project Engineer at Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. supports field activities and collaborates with the Project Manager on multiple small projects or a single medium to large project.

You’ll help manage the job transition, cost control, schedule, and procurement planning to keep projects on track. You will generate estimates, review invoices, and coordinate with safety and field teams to ensure compliance with wage laws and subcontractor terms, while contributing to project success and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with 2 years’ experience or 6 years’ construction experience or training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents and regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels of staff.

Responsabilités

• Supports project administration and cost/schedule management on multiple small projects or one medium/large project.
• Generates monthly billing, earned value, and manages initial budgets and updates.
• Develops project schedules and tracks progress; analyzes costs and reports variances.
• Coordinates with subcontractors, procurement, and safety/risk teams to ensure compliance.
