Job summary

HITT Contracting in Atlanta invites you to join our Commercial Construction Project Engineer track as part of the HITT Futures Program. This 12-month on-site development path is designed for new graduates, Veterans, and others passionate about advancing in construction leadership, with a fast track to promotion to assistant-level PM or superintendent.

You will shadow a dedicated Futures Program Sponsor, complete structured training, and gain hands-on experience on real projects within a 30–40

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree strongly preferred.
• Military experience or an accredited degree in construction-related fields is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience on commercial job sites is highly valued.
• Strong interest in on-site construction and safety.
• Ability to learn sector- and project-specific software systems.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Shadow supervisors to learn day-to-day on-site operations.
• Support project team with scheduling, budgeting, and client management as needed.
• Assist in safety program implementation and daily quality checks.
• Participate in site inspections and documentation updates.
