Job summary

Clayton Home Building Group is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support our retail team in completing construction timely while delivering world-class service. This role handles field construction management, permitting, walk-throughs, and coordination of service.

Responsibilities include handling contractor bills, permits, scheduling with contractors and customers, and maintaining customer files.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Construction.
• Strong customer relations skills.
• Ability to learn and operate company software.
• Pass criminal background check and post-offer drug screen.
• Two-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes all bill-backs with factories and related paperwork.
• Processes contractor bills.
• Responsible for customer files.
• Assist in obtaining permits.
• Follow-up with contractors and customers for service calls and paperwork.
• Manage Home Centers Net Promoter Score (NPS – Customer Service).
• Schedule set-up and delivery and other service items with contractors and customers.
• Follow-up with customers via various contact methods (home visits).
• Merchandise the retail location and homes (move furniture, décor, cleaning).
• Assist in audits preparation.
• Partner with manager on exceptions and questions.
• Protect company assets.
• Participate in sales meetings and events.
• Support marketing promotions as needed.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.
• Cooperative and collaborative, willing to work in a team; assist with miscellaneous duties as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
