Job summary

Clayton Retail is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support field construction, permitting, scheduling, and service coordination for our retail homes. You will ensure timely project completion, excellent customer service, and teamwork across departments.

The role involves field collaboration, bill processing, and assisting with audits. A two-year degree is preferred, and ability to lift furniture is required. Clayton promotes a balanced, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree preferred.
• Knowledge of construction and retail environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes bill-backs with factories and related paperwork.
• Processes contractor bills.
• Responsible for customer files.
• Assist in obtaining permits.
• Follow-up with contractors and customers for service calls and paperwork.
• Manage Home Centers Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Schedule set-up, delivery and other service-related items with contractors and customers.
• Follow-up with customers via home visits.
• Merchandise the retail location and homes (moving furniture, décor, cleaning).
• Assist in audits preparation.
• Partner with manager on exceptions and questions.
• Protect company assets.
• Participate in sales meetings and events.
• Support marketing promotions as needed.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
