Project Coordinator
Location: Charleston, SC
Position Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time
Compensation: $65,000 annually

A growing construction company in Charleston is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support Project Managers with daily construction operations and project documentation. This role is ideal for someone with both administrative and construction experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating multiple moving pieces across active projects. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining project records, managing documentation workflows, coordinating communication between stakeholders, and supporting overall project success from start to closeout.

Requirements:

-Coordinate day-to-day activities for active construction projects in partnership with Project Managers
-Maintain and organize project documentation, reports, and records
-Coordinate and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project correspondence
-Ensure project-related emails, memos, and communications are distributed appropriately
-Serve as a liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, architects, clients, and contractors
-Assist with project closeout documentation, including as-builts, O&M manuals, compliance records, and testing documentation
-Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, and change directives to ensure timely responses
-Support reporting and documentation needs for multiple active projects simultaneously
-Assist with general administrative and construction-related support duties as assigned
-Help ensure projects remain organized, compliant, and properly documented throughout all phases

Qualifications:

-2–3 years of construction, project coordination, or related industry experience preferred
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
-Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
-Comfortable working with a variety of internal teams and external partners
-Ability to prepare reports, organize data, and track project activity
-Strong problem-solving skills and professional judgment
-Ability to learn company procedures, systems, and construction workflows quickly
-Dependable, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
