Job summary

Won-Door Corporation is seeking a Project Coordinator to support commercial construction and retrofit projects from award through completion. You will act as the main liaison among customers, contractors, project managers, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and other internal teams.

The role emphasizes organized, proactive people who keep schedules, manage change orders, and ensure timely documentation while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate degree OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, construction support, customer service, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Ability to learn technical products and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction and retrofit projects from award through completion of Won-Door's scope.
• Coordinate project schedules, milestones, submittals, architectural revisions, and change orders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Credit, Legal, and other departments to ensure successful project execution.
• Track project progress and proactively identify schedule risks or roadblocks.
• Maintain accurate project files, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate project closeout packages, warranties, manuals, and final documentation.
• Help customers understand production schedules, lead times, and installation milestones.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the lifecycle of every project.
