Job summary

Delphi Construction, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Mashpee, MA to support the Project Manager and Superintendent.

This in-person, full-time role focuses on submittal, RFI, and documentation management, with duties extending to early planning, scheduling, change orders, commissioning and turnover. You will assist with procurement, pre-qualification, meeting coordination, and progress reporting while interfacing with subcontractors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years of construction related experience; internships may be included.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee submittal management: log, track and distribute submittals.
• Logs, tracks, and distributes RFIs; expedite responses and close-out.
• Coordinate documentation: reconcile office and field documents with the site team.
• Manage close-out: develop checklists and collect As-Built docs, warranties, manuals.
• Provide monthly and on-demand reports on submittal, RFI and close-out status.
• Assist in subcontractor evaluation, contract/purchase order negotiations, and pre-qualification.
• Support schedule development by securing lead times for subs and vendors.
• Attend weekly/monthly project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
