Job summary

SG Contracting, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager, Superintendent, and the project team in delivering successful construction projects.

The role involves gathering information, preparing RFIs, PCOs, and change orders, updating the project schedule, generating monthly reports, and maintaining project correspondence. You will grow proficiency in construction practices, processes, and software alongside the team.

Qualifications

• 1–6 years in construction as a Field or Project Engineer.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or similar discipline would be beneficial.
• Must possess a learning desire for computer programs that will enhance performance.

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with the project team to interpret needs and provide technical support.
• Must demonstrate decision making ability and leadership skills.
• Must possess time management and organizational skills.
• Provide technical support to the project team.
• Assist in the preparation of the overall project schedule and provide updates.
• Assist in preparing RFIs, PCOs, Change Orders, DCRs, monthly reports, billings and other project reports.
