Crossland Heavy Contractors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project planning, scheduling, and coordination.

You will work with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery across projects, coordinating with engineers, vendors, and subcontractors. You will help with front-end planning, submittals, cost tracking, and documentation in Procore and other PM tools.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field (Preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in construction project coordination or management support (Preferred).
• Basic understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project delivery methods (Preferred).
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (Preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications (Preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required (Preferred).

Responsabilités

• Safety is integrated into planning and execution; promote accountability on staff and subs/contributors.
• Prepare & submit front end documentation per specifications.
• Assist in overall project scheduling and procurement coordination.
• Maintain open communications with Owner/Engineer and attend monthly progress meetings when required.
• Keep accurate project documentation and logs (Procore, RFI, submittals).
• Support expediting of vendors and subcontractors.
• Assist with submittals review and tracking of changes and quantities.
• Track project costs and assist with monthly PM reports.
• Coordinate with Superintendent on equipment costs and local logistics.
• Prepare monthly project meetings and close-out documentation.
