Job summary

Cross Resource Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support construction projects from planning through procurement and closeout. You will assist in scheduling, document control, and coordination with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to keep milestones on track.

The role emphasizes Procore-based documentation, safety and regulatory compliance, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of construction experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Procore software (training will be provided).
• CQMC certification or willingness to obtain it within a designated timeframe.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and managing project needs.
• Support in writing proposals, subcontracts, change orders, and purchase orders.
• Track and manage invoices, safety plans, RFIs, and submittals.
• Ensure compliance with project-specific requirements and documentation.
• Maintain and organize project documentation using Procore for seamless correspondence and document control.

Skills

1-2 years construction experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
