Job summary

Crossland Heavy Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead multifaceted projects from planning through closeout. You will ensure safety, maintain schedules, manage budgets, and coordinate with Superintendents and owners to deliver quality facilities.

The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving and strong client communication. As a Project Manager, you will oversee procurement, subcontracting, and documentation, using Procore and other industry tools, while ensuring adherence to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field (Preferred).
• 5–10+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably heavy civil or industrial construction (Preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost control processes (Preferred).
• Experience with water/wastewater or transportation infrastructure projects (Preferred).
• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training (Preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Safe completion of projects within budget and on schedule.
• Coordinate with Superintendent to support project staff.
• Develop long-term planning, scheduling, and avoidance of roadblocks.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents and company policies.
• Maintain logs and documentation using Procore and related tools.
• Review and approve subcontractor pay applications and vendor invoices.
• Manage startup, commissioning, and project closeout activities.
