Crossland Heavy Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site coordination and execution of projects up to $50 million. You will work with the Senior PM/PM to develop and enforce the construction plan, supervise crews, and ensure safety and quality on every job.

Responsibilities include pre-planning, schedule development, labor coordination, and managing subcontractors. Travel to job sites and strong communication with owners and teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of construction field experience with increasing supervisory responsibility.
• Experience managing heavy civil or water/wastewater treatment projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• OSHA 30 certification (Preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required.

Responsabilités

• Safety planning is included in all pre-job planning and daily operations.
• Quality control for the project, for company and subcontractors.
• Initial project direction, jobsite setup, laydown plan, material handling, mobilization.
• Participate in scheduling and ensure alignment with the job plan; develop a three-week look-ahead.
• Coordinate and supervise all company workforces; manage labor balance.
• Develop Superintendents, Trade Superintendents, and Field personnel.
• Maintain project logs and daily reports; track costs and variances.
• Protect company assets and ensure proper equipment usage; manage subcontractor scope.
