Jobot is seeking a Project Billing Specialist in the Greater Chicago Area to manage project billings, portal administration, and receivables under the supervision of the Senior Project Accountant. You will collaborate with Project Managers and clients to ensure timely, accurate billing for multiple active operations.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of hands-on project billing or AR experience in construction.
• Experience with AIA Billing (G702/G703), lien waivers, and T&M billing.
• Proficiency with construction accounting systems and web-billing portals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and submit monthly progress billings across standard AR and web-billing platforms.
• Generate and review AIA documents (G702/G703), sworn statements, and lien waivers.
• Process change orders, manage T&M billings, and track retainage.
• Interface with Project Managers and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure contract compliance.
• Collect lien waivers and supporting docs from subcontractors on project requests.
