Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead infrastructure work at Starbase and other facilities in the Brownsville/South Padre Island area. You will own the full lifecycle of multidisciplinary projects from design to activation, driving on-time delivery, cost control, and safety.

The role requires a engineering/architecture/construction management degree with 1+ years of field experience, or 5+ years in commercial construction; proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management with 1+ years of field construction experience (or 5+ years without a degree).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations; coordinate items.
• Experience with major construction project management including estimating, cost control, schedule, and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of multidisciplinary construction projects to achieve on-time, under-budget delivery with customer satisfaction.
• Provide guidance on scope, ROM costs, gather proposals, evaluate bids, and develop final cost and schedule.
• Manage site safety, quality inspections, and coordination with contractors across multiple disciplines.
