Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary infrastructure projects at Starbase and other facilities. You will own projects from scope to close, collaborating with elite engineers and specialists to design, build, and activate critical facilities in a fast-paced environment.

The role demands managing budgets, schedules, and regulatory approvals, with a focus on safety and quality across multiple trades and shifts in the Brownsville/South Padre Island area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management with 1+ years of field experience, or 5+ years of commercial construction experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and calculations; proficiency in site benchmarks.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit for project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of multidisciplinary construction projects to ensure on-time and under-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, vendors, and contractors across multiple disciplines.
• Develop final cost and schedule for projects and manage risk, safety, and quality on site.
• Facilitate city, county, and regulatory approvals and manage subcontractor contracts.
