Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary infrastructure projects at Starbase and other facilities in South Texas. This role owns scope from concept to close-out, driving on-time, under-budget delivery while maintaining safety and quality.

You will work with elite engineers and specialists to activate facilities that support ambitious space missions. The position is based in Brownsville/South Padre Island area, with extended hours as needed and frequent site travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• 1+ year of field experience on construction projects or 5+ years in lieu of degree.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of multidisciplinary construction projects to deliver on time and under budget.
• Coordinate proposals from architects, engineers, vendors, or contractors; evaluate bids.
• Develop final cost and schedule for projects; implement cost/schedule controls.
• Ensure site safety, regulatory approvals, and contract close-out; manage field operations.
